The City of South San Francisco is seeking qualified firms to provide legislative advocacy and strategic grant writing services to support its policy and funding priorities. The selected consultant will represent the City at state and/or federal levels, assisting in developing legislative platforms, tracking and influencing policy developments, and building relationships with key government stakeholders. In addition, the consultant will identify, pursue, and secure grant funding for capital improvement projects, public safety infrastructure, and community initiatives. Services include preparing grant applications, coordinating advocacy efforts, maintaining compliance with reporting requirements, and supporting post-award administration. The consultant will also help align the City’s priorities with funding opportunities through strategic planning and ongoing collaboration with City staff. The overall goal is to enhance the City’s ability to secure funding and effectively advocate for its legislative interests.
