Maritime Clean Energy, Fuels, and Technologies Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ)
The Port of Seattle is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide technical consulting services to support maritime clean energy, alternative fuels, and emerging technologies under an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. The selected consultant will assist in developing and deploying strategies related to low- and zero-emission fuels, power infrastructure, and clean energy systems across maritime operations. Services include fuel supply chain analysis, economic and emissions modeling, infrastructure finance, policy development, stakeholder engagement, and workforce development. The consultant will also support pilot project implementation, regulatory compliance, safety planning, and community outreach initiatives. The work aims to advance decarbonization goals aligned with regional and international climate strategies, including reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting sustainable maritime operations. The contract will be task-order based, allowing the Port to issue service directives as needed over the contract term, with flexibility to address evolving energy technologies and industry needs.
