WHAT THEY WANT
(Summarized from the RFP)
Lane County Parks, a division of the County Public Works Department, is seeking a marketing, communications, and public outreach consultant to support public information efforts for the renewal of the Parks Levy, expected on the May 2027 ballot. The County manages parks, campgrounds, trails, reservoirs, and recreation facilities, and voters approved the current levy in 2018 to address maintenance backlogs and aging infrastructure. As that authorization nears its end, the County wants residents to understand how levy dollars have been used, what the system still needs, and which projects a renewal could fund. Work is expected to begin between mid-December 2026 and early January 2027.
