Riverside County seeks qualified organizations to operate and provide Crisis Residential Treatment services at the Mead Valley Wellness Village in Riverside County. The purpose of the RFP is to procure comprehensive, short-term residential behavioral health services for adults experiencing acute mental health crises who require a structured, supportive, and clinically supervised environment as an alternative to hospitalization. Services must include 24-hour care, crisis stabilization, therapeutic interventions, medication support, peer-to-peer services, and discharge planning aligned with recovery-oriented and trauma-informed care principles. The selected contractor will be expected to deliver culturally competent, evidence-based mental health treatment while coordinating closely with Riverside University Health System – Behavioral Health and other community partners. The program is intended to reduce unnecessary psychiatric hospitalizations, improve crisis outcomes, and support continuity of care for individuals with serious mental illness. The County anticipates entering into a multi-year agreement with renewal options, subject to funding availability and performance.
