The County of Alameda is seeking licensed Occupational Therapists to support its Healthy Homes Department in delivering home safety and accessibility services to low-income older adult homeowners. The selected contractor(s) will conduct comprehensive pre- and post-home modification assessments to evaluate functional limitations and environmental barriers affecting aging residents. Services include developing client-centered home modification recommendations that enhance independence, safety, and the ability to age in place. Therapists will collaborate with County staff, utilize required assessment software, and provide written reports within defined timelines. Work includes training, coordination with housing rehabilitation staff, review of scopes of work, and follow-up post-assessment visits after modifications are completed. The County intends to award up to 2 contracts for a 3-year term, with an option for a 2-year renewal.
