WHAT THEY WANT
(Summarized from the RFP)
The Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) is seeking one or more Washington State licensed behavioral health and substance use service providers to develop and implement a Behavioral Health Outreach Program (BHOP) serving low-income public housing residents across SHA's portfolio in Seattle. The program addresses the need to connect SHA residents whose untreated or inadequately treated behavioral health and substance use conditions contribute to housing instability, disruptive behaviors, and poor health outcomes. The primary target population is approximately 3,100 residents living in 28 Low-Income Public Housing high-rise buildings, a racially and linguistically diverse population averaging 64 years of age, 54% of whom report living with a disability.
