On-Call Geographic Information System Consulting Services
The City of San Ramon Public Works Department is seeking qualified consultants to provide on-call Geographic Information System (GIS) consulting services to support its municipal GIS program. The selected consultant will deliver technical expertise on an as-needed, task-order basis, including database administration, structured query language and relational database management system support, server and desktop GIS administration, custom programming, drone operations, cartographic production, and web-based GIS application development. Services include managing spatial databases, administering ArcGIS environments, developing Python scripts, conducting drone mapping in compliance with Federal Aviation Administration Part 107 requirements, and designing web applications using JavaScript and Open Geospatial Consortium standards. The agreement will be structured as a professional services contract with compensation based on time-and-materials under a not-to-exceed amount.
