On-Call Landscape Architect Services
The City of Murrieta is seeking qualified landscape architecture firms to provide on-call professional landscape architect services in support of citywide capital improvement and public realm projects. The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to establish a bench of highly qualified consultants capable of delivering innovative, visually impactful, and environmentally sustainable landscape designs on an as-needed basis. Services will support Murrieta’s sustainability-first approach to enhancing gateways, corridors, medians, slopes, parks, trails, and other highly visible public assets. The selected consultants will be responsible for a wide range of services including conceptual and construction-level landscape design, irrigation and planting plans, 3D renderings, design guideline development, plan review, construction support, and regulatory coordination. The City emphasizes drought-tolerant, low-maintenance, and cost-effective solutions that enhance visual identity while minimizing long-term operational costs. Consultants may also assist with updating landscape design standards, preparing feasibility studies, supporting grant applications, and ensuring compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Work will be assigned through individual task orders with negotiated fees and schedules.
