The Seattle Housing Authority is soliciting proposals from qualified mural agencies/entities to provide on-call mural art services supporting the planning, design, and implementation of exterior and/or interior murals across Seattle Housing Authority properties, as needed. Work may include site research; artist selection and coordination; mural design development; stakeholder engagement; and delivery of community-facing art-making activities such as workshops and classes. The selected vendor may be asked to administer mural projects end-to-end, including budgeting, invoicing, purchasing and storage of materials, obtaining permits/licenses when required, scheduling, materials management, site preparation and clean-up, and documenting and reporting progress through photos and written updates. The vendor will also support design planning through interactive workshops with Seattle Housing Authority staff, residents, and community members; facilitate the review/approval of final designs; and implement murals and related programming for varied audience groups. Project scopes and fees will be defined per individual work order after contract execution.
