On-Call Transit Planning Support Services
Sound Transit is seeking qualified and experienced transit planning firms to provide on-call transit planning support services under a three-year contract, with two optional one-year extensions. The selected consultant(s) will assist with a range of transit planning activities supporting Sound Transit’s expanding regional high-capacity transit system across King, Pierce, and Snohomish counties. Services may include service planning, operations analysis, performance evaluation, corridor planning, and other technical planning support to address system expansion and operational needs. The contract is structured as a task order-based, on-call professional services agreement. Sound Transit emphasizes small-business participation, compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity requirements, and adherence to federal civil rights requirements. Proposals will be evaluated based on key personnel expertise, firm experience, project approach, price, economic development strategies, and commitment to Equal Employment Opportunity standards.
