On-Call Transportation Planning and Engineering Consultants
The City of Kirkland is seeking qualifications from professional firms to establish a roster of up to three on-call consultants to provide transportation planning and engineering services. These services will support capital improvement projects and planning initiatives on a task order basis, typically under $8,000 per assignment. The scope includes general transportation planning, multimodal planning and design, traffic engineering studies, and transportation engineering services. Tasks may involve travel demand analysis, corridor studies, cost-benefit analysis, design preparation plans, specifications and estimates, signal timing optimization, parking studies, conceptual roadway design, public outreach support, and development review assistance. The initial contract term is two years with an optional one-year extension. Funding may include City operating funds, capital improvement funds, and potentially state or federal grants.
