Pre Employment Transition Services
The State of Washington Department of Social and Health Services DSHS Division of Vocational Rehabilitation DVR is seeking qualified contractors to provide Pre-Employment Transition Services to students with disabilities who are potentially eligible or eligible for vocational rehabilitation services. These services help students explore career pathways, prepare for employment, and transition from secondary education to post-secondary education or the workforce. Contractors will deliver services in group settings while students are still enrolled in school and participating in an Individualized Education Program or identified as having a disability under federal law. Required services include job exploration, counseling, work-based learning experiences, post-secondary counseling, workplace readiness training, and self-advocacy instruction. Programs may include workshops, mentoring, and career exploration activities that connect classroom learning with real-world employment experiences across educational service districts in Washington.
