WHAT THEY WANT
(Summarized from the RFP)
The County of San Luis Obispo Auditor-Controller-Treasurer-Tax Collector is issuing a Request for Information from vendors of commercial property tax software. The County currently runs secured, unsecured and supplemental billing, collection, delinquency, redemption, prior-year unsecured delinquency and apportionment on PTAX, an in-house system originally built for a mainframe, supported by several in-house ancillary applications. It plans to replace all of them with an existing, commercially supported product rather than a custom build or a rewrite, and wants vendors with production history in California counties.
