WHAT THEY WANT
(Summarized from the RFP)
The City of Ontario is seeking a professional engineering consultant to prepare a preliminary design report for the Pure Water Ontario Advanced Water Purification Facility. The planned facility would further treat tertiary recycled water from the Inland Empire Utilities Agency's Regional Water Recycling Plant No. 1 and recharge it into the Chino Basin through four or five subsurface injection wells, supplying up to 4,500 acre-feet per year. It would give the City a dependable local supply and reduce its reliance on imported State Water Project water.
