The City of Huntington Beach is seeking qualified firms and individuals to provide on-call real estate appraisal services to support a variety of municipal needs. The objective is to establish a pre-qualified pool of certified appraisers capable of delivering independent, compliant, and high-quality valuation services across diverse property types. These include residential, commercial, industrial, easements, rights-of-way, condemnation cases, ground leases, and specialized assets such as cellular operations and vacant land. Services also include appraisal review, market analysis, and consulting support as needed. All work must adhere to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice USPAP and applicable federal and state regulations. The City emphasizes accuracy, documentation quality, and timely delivery, typically within 10–15 business days. Selected consultants may be engaged on a rotating basis depending on project needs and performance. Familiarity with California eminent domain law and federal relocation policies is preferred.
