Real Property Insurance Services
The County of Los Angeles Treasurer and Tax Collector, acting through the Public Administrator, is seeking qualified vendors to provide real property insurance services for properties managed as part of estate administration. The Public Administrator is responsible for managing real property assets belonging to decedents and conservatorships, including residential, multi-family, commercial, and vacant properties. Through this Request for Statement of Qualifications, the County intends to establish a master list of up to ten qualified insurance contractors capable of providing property-casualty insurance products such as liability, casualty, fire, and related coverage for both structures and property contents. Once the list is established, the Public Administrator will issue coverage requests via email to contractors on the list, requesting policy proposals based on estimated property values and coverage needs. Contractors will submit proposals by a specified deadline, and the County will select an insurance provider based on submitted coverage proposals. The resulting master agreements will support ongoing insurance coverage needs for properties under the County’s estate management responsibilities.
