Reconnecting Old North Sacramento Plan
The City of Sacramento is seeking a consultant team to develop the Reconnecting Old North Sacramento Plan, a community-driven planning effort funded by a federal Reconnecting Communities and Neighborhoods grant. The project aims to address longstanding mobility, access, and economic challenges caused by major transportation barriers, including Highway 160, the Capital City Freeway, and the Union Pacific Railroad. The selected consultant will conduct data collection, technical analyses, and extensive community engagement to identify equitable, multimodal transportation solutions. Deliverables include existing conditions and technical analysis reports, a community engagement plan, and a final implementation-oriented plan with projects, policies, and funding strategies.
