WHAT THEY WANT
(Summarized from the RFP)
The City of Simi Valley, through its Environmental Services Department, is establishing a List of Qualified EIR Consultants: a pool of up to ten pre-screened firms eligible to prepare Environmental Impact Reports (EIRs) for public and private development projects in the City. The current list expires January 31, 2027. City municipal code and the City's California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) guidelines require that any consulting firm employed to prepare an EIR be pre-approved by the City Council, so placement on this list is the gateway to the City's EIR work.
