WHAT THEY WANT

(Summarized from the RFP)

Sacramento County is seeking an experienced correctional healthcare organization to strengthen the Adult Correctional Health (ACH) system, which serves the Sacramento Main Jail and the Rio Cosumnes Correctional Center. ACH sits within the Department of Health Services, delivering primary care, behavioral health, pharmacy, specialty and hospital services to roughly 3,300 adults in custody each day through about 300 County employees plus contracted providers. The County is working toward compliance with a federal consent decree (the Mays Consent Decree) and with incoming CalAIM requirements, and wants an independent consultant to supply embedded subject-matter expertise.
