The City of Santa Clara is seeking qualified design and engineering firms to provide comprehensive architectural and engineering services for library renovation and improvement projects. The work will support implementation of the Santa Clara City Library’s 2025 Library Facilities Master Plan, as well as additional capital improvement initiatives across multiple library branches. Services include preliminary engineering, schematic and architectural design, cost estimating, public outreach, preparation of bid documents, bidding support, and construction phase assistance. The City intends to establish a pool of pre-qualified consultants under as-needed agreements, allowing multiple task orders to be issued over time as project needs arise. Projects may include upgrades to facilities such as the Central Park Library, Mission Branch, and Northside Branch. The selected firms will play a critical role in modernizing library infrastructure, improving accessibility, and supporting long-term community development goals through strategic capital improvements.
