WHAT THEY WANT
(Summarized from the RFP)
The County of Santa Clara's Office of Sustainability and Resilience is seeking a contractor team to develop the Santa Clara County Subregional Shoreline Adaptation Plan, a multi-jurisdictional plan that addresses sea level rise along the San Francisco Bay shoreline. The plan covers the County's unincorporated areas and six partner cities (Palo Alto, Mountain View, Sunnyvale, San Jose, Santa Clara and Milpitas), with Valley Water and the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority also participating. It is funded by a grant from the California Ocean Protection Council and must comply with the Bay Conservation and Development Commission's Regional Shoreline Adaptation Plan Guidelines under Senate Bill 272.
