The County of Los Angeles Aging and Disabilities Department is soliciting proposals from qualified organizations to administer the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) across Los Angeles County service planning areas, excluding the City of Los Angeles. The program is designed to provide employment and workforce development opportunities for low-income individuals aged fifty-five and older who face barriers to employment. Selected providers will deliver services including participant assessments, individualized employment plans, job training placements, career counseling, supportive services, and job search assistance to help participants transition into unsubsidized employment. The program supports hands-on job training through part-time subsidized placements while building skills and employment readiness. The County anticipates awarding one subaward to a qualified organization to serve eight service planning areas. The contract term is expected to begin July 1, 2026, and run through June 30, 2027, with renewal options subject to funding and performance.
