The County of Santa Cruz Probation Department is seeking qualified organizations to deliver culturally responsive, trauma‑informed, and evidence‑based services for justice‑inolved youth and emerging adults. The selected contractor will provide in‑custody and community‑based reentry and transition services designed to reduce recidivism and improve long‑term outcomes. Services will begin while youth are in custody and continue through the critical post‑release period, focusing on individualized transition planning, family engagement, education and employment connections, housing stability, and community support. Each participant will work with a dedicated reentry specialist who coordinates services, maintains regular contact, and supports goal achievement. The program is intended to strengthen protective factors, address social and emotional needs, and connect youth to pro‑social opportunities and community resources. Proposals must align with evidence‑informed practices, cultural responsiveness, and the county’s risk‑needs‑responsivity framework to support successful reintegration and positive development.
