Stanton Avenue Complete Streets Planning Study
The City of Buena Park is seeking qualified consulting firms to develop the Stanton Avenue Complete Streets Planning Study, a comprehensive transportation and land use planning initiative. The project focuses on improving multimodal mobility along the Stanton Avenue corridor, enhancing safety and accessibility for pedestrians, bicyclists, transit users, and motorists. The selected consultant will provide services including engineering design, transportation planning, stakeholder and community engagement, equity and displacement analysis, and development of implementation strategies. The study aims to address current infrastructure deficiencies, reduce reliance on single-occupancy vehicles, and promote sustainable and equitable transportation solutions. The project also emphasizes community input, particularly from disadvantaged populations, to ensure inclusive planning outcomes. Deliverables include conceptual design plans, engagement summaries, alternative analyses, and a final implementation strategy with cost estimates and funding opportunities. Ultimately, the study will guide future design and construction efforts to transform the corridor into a safer, more connected, and economically vibrant transportation network.
