Surface Water Utility Professional Services Contract
The City of Shoreline is seeking qualified consultants to provide professional services supporting its Surface Water Utility programs and compliance with the 2024–2029 National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Municipal Stormwater Permit for Western Washington. The selected consultant will assist with a range of technical, analytical, and programmatic tasks related to stormwater management, water quality monitoring, and regulatory compliance. Key activities include analysis of water quality monitoring data, development of reports on water quality trends, mapping of municipal stormwater infrastructure and environmental conditions, and support for source control inspections and program inventory updates. Additional services include public education and outreach initiatives related to stormwater pollution prevention, the development of outreach materials, and assistance with behavior-change programs that encourage green stormwater infrastructure. Consultants may also help update stormwater pollution prevention plans, assist during regulatory audits, and provide project management and contract administration support. The contract supports the City’s environmental stewardship efforts.
