Temporary Art Installation Sammamish Grows Together
The City of Sammamish Department of Parks, Recreation, and Facilities is seeking qualifications from artists to design, construct, and disassemble a temporary outdoor art installation titled Sammamish Grows Together. The installation will be displayed at Sammamish City Hall and the Sammamish Upper Commons from May 15, 2026 through September 30, 2026. The project aims to create a visually impactful piece that enhances civic visibility and strengthens community identity. Inspired by the City’s commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, environmental stewardship, and the Bee City Initiative, the artwork should reflect themes of cultural exchange, pollinator habitat, native plants, and community unity. The selected artist will be responsible for design, fabrication, installation, and removal. The total project budget must not exceed $10,000.
