WHAT THEY WANT
(Summarized from the RFP)
The County of Santa Clara Health System is seeking statements of qualifications from qualified and experienced vendors and individuals to establish a pool of providers for temporary health professional staffing services. The County may issue single or multiple awards and maintain a qualified list for five years, with contract opportunities arising as Health System needs are identified. The solicitation covers ancillary health professional staffing services for Santa Clara Valley Healthcare and related Health System departments and facilities, including O’Connor Hospital, Regional Medical Center, Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, St. Louise Regional Hospital, Behavioral Health Services Department, Custody Health Services, Emergency Medical Services Agency, Public Health Department, and Valley Health Plan. Covered staffing categories may include audiology, cardiology and vascular services, diagnostic imaging and radiology, gastroenterology, health services assistant services, medical social worker services, ophthalmology, orthopedics, patient transporter services, respiratory care, sterile processing, surgical, operating room, labor and delivery services, and therapy services. The solicitation expressly states that it is not intended to procure nursing, physician, or other non-clinical staffing services. Offerors may propose for all categories, specific health professional categories, or a single area of expertise, and responses will be evaluated independently by category.
