Transition and Re-entry Services Using the Healing to Hope Credible Messengers Mentoring Model
The Washington State Department of Children, Youth and Families is seeking qualified organizations to provide transition and re-entry services for youth and young adults exiting juvenile rehabilitation facilities. The program utilizes the Healing to Hope Credible Messengers Mentoring Model, which focuses on mentorship and support from individuals with lived experience to assist youth in reintegrating into their communities. The primary goal is to reduce recidivism and improve long-term outcomes by increasing access to structured re-entry services in Eastern Washington. Eligible applicants must demonstrate experience working within the juvenile justice system, strong community partnerships, and the ability to deliver culturally responsive and trauma-informed services. Services will primarily target regions east of the Cascades, including Yakima, Spokane, Benton, and Franklin counties. The selected contractor will provide mentorship, support services, and coordination with community stakeholders to ensure successful reintegration outcomes.
