The City of Concord is soliciting letters of interest from qualified consulting firms to provide comprehensive transportation planning services for the Cabarrus Rowan Metropolitan Planning Organization. The selected firm will support the day-to-day operations of the organization, including staffing, administrative coordination, technical planning, data management, and public engagement. Core responsibilities include managing committee meetings, maintaining the regional travel demand model, administering grant reporting, and developing key planning documents such as the Long Range Transportation Plan, Metropolitan Transportation Plan, and Comprehensive Transportation Plan. The consultant will also conduct multimodal transportation analysis covering highways, transit, rail, aviation, bicycle, and pedestrian systems. Additional tasks include public involvement planning, financial programming, and coordination with federal, state, and local agencies.
