Trauma-Informed Facilitation
The Washington State Department of Children, Youth & Families is seeking a qualified contractor to provide trauma-informed and healing-centered facilitation services to support the Early Learning Coordination Plan Impact Network Outcome 2 Community of Practice. This work is funded through the Federal Preschool Development Birth to Five Grant and focuses on engaging individuals with lived experience navigating family support systems. The selected contractor will facilitate monthly meetings, design inclusive and equitable engagement spaces, and deliver training and capacity-building workshops to strengthen lived experts’ leadership, advocacy, and facilitation skills. Responsibilities include trauma stewardship, peer support development, co-design engagement processes, one-on-one communication support, and subcontracting with lived experts to manage compensation and reimbursements. The contractor must center equity and family voice in all aspects of service delivery.
