The City of Sacramento Department of Utilities is seeking a qualified consulting firm to implement the Utility Network data model within its Geographic Information Systems environment. The project will migrate the City’s existing utilities asset data from the Local Government Information Model to the newer Utility Network framework, which supports modern asset management, network tracing, and system integration capabilities. The selected consultant will work closely with City staff to plan and manage the transition, including project management, stakeholder engagement, data migration, data validation, and development of editing templates and change management protocols. The project also requires adjustments to enterprise system integrations, including Cityworks, GraniteNet, Dig-Smart, and Customer Care and Billing. Additional responsibilities include migrating web maps and applications, conducting testing and training, and providing post-implementation support.
