Video Surveillance Technologies
The City of Richmond Police Department is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide Video Surveillance Technologies, specifically Automated License Plate Reader Technology and Closed-Circuit Television systems. The City currently operates approximately 110 stationary Automated License Plate Reader cameras and 65 stationary Closed-Circuit Television cameras and seeks solutions for continued provision, replacement, or enhancement of this infrastructure. Software must comply with federal and California regulations, including Criminal Justice Information Services requirements, and ensure agency-controlled data with a maximum 30-day retention period.
