Wastewater Master Plan Update and As-Needed Wastewater Consulting Services
The City of Glendale Department of Public Works is seeking qualified engineering consultants to update its Wastewater Master Plan and provide ongoing as-needed wastewater consulting services. The project includes system-wide data collection, GIS updates, hydraulic modeling, flow monitoring, and the development of population and land-use criteria to evaluate existing and future wastewater demands. The consultant will assess system capacity, pumping facilities, sewer condition data, and sanitary sewer overflow history to develop rehabilitation priorities and a long-term capital improvement program. Additional tasks include updating the wastewater development fee methodology, preparing funding and budget forecasts, evaluating operations and maintenance programs, and coordinating capital projects with other infrastructure improvements. The consultant will prepare draft and final master plan reports and provide technical support, modeling documentation, and staff training. On-call services may include engineering, financial, and regulatory analysis; support for inter-agency wastewater treatment coordination; and other technical wastewater-related assistance, as authorized by the task order.
