Website Content Management System and Implementation
The City of Hillsboro is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide a modern Website Content Management System and related implementation services to replace its existing municipal website platform. The selected vendor will deliver a Software-as-a-Service content management system that enables the City to manage and publish digital content without requiring advanced technical skills while supporting long-term scalability and functionality. The project includes migrating existing website content, implementing a refreshed website design aligned with the City’s branding and style guides, and maintaining current website URLs. The solution must support multilingual capabilities, comply with web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 Level AA), and enable uniquely branded subsites for departments and initiatives. Additional services include implementing an email bulletin and subscription system to replace the City’s current GovDelivery platform, hosting the platform, and providing system support and maintenance. The vendor will also deliver training resources for system administrators and content editors. The overall goal is to modernize Hillsboro’s digital services platform, improve accessibility and communication with residents, and ensure equitable access to information for the community.
