Workforce Development Board One Stop Operator
The County of Monterey Workforce Development Board is seeking a qualified organization to serve as the One Stop Operator for its America’s Job Center of California system. The selected provider will coordinate service delivery across the county’s comprehensive and satellite workforce centers, ensuring alignment among multiple program partners under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act. Responsibilities include managing day‑to‑day operations, coordinating career and training services, overseeing customer flow, ensuring compliance with certification requirements, supporting continuous quality improvement, and maintaining high customer satisfaction. The operator will work closely with workforce providers, employers, and community partners to improve employment outcomes, strengthen career pathways, and support individuals with barriers to employment. The contract will be funded through federal workforce development funds and is intended to improve coordination, service quality, and workforce outcomes across the local system.
