Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Title One Youth Services Provider
The County of San Luis Obispo is soliciting proposals from qualified organizations to operate and manage Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title I Youth Services across the county. The selected provider will deliver workforce development programming designed to help eligible youth, primarily out-of-school youth ages 16-24, access employment, education, and training opportunities aligned with local labor market needs. Services include outreach, recruitment, assessment, individualized service planning, case management, work-based learning, training, education, support, and follow-up services. The program must comply with federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act requirements and use the CalJOBS system for tracking participants. The contractor will collaborate with workforce partners, employers, and community organizations to provide comprehensive youth workforce services and career pathway development. Approximately 700000 in program funding is anticipated for the initial contract period beginning July 1 2026 with possible renewals.
