World Cup 2026 Information Assistance Services
The State of Washington Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is seeking qualified vendors to provide information assistance services during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Through this procurement, WSDOT aims to ensure that transportation facilities and services are accessible to visitors, particularly individuals with disabilities and those with limited English proficiency. The selected contractor will design and set up information booths at six ferry terminals and deploy up to 20 roaming staff in high-traffic areas to support travelers. Staff will assist visitors by providing directions maps and transportation information related to WSDOT facilities SeaTac Airport and Lumen Field where the tournament matches will occur. The services will also include interpreter support and accessibility guidance to help international and domestic visitors navigate transportation systems during the global event. The project is funded through the FIFA 2026 Infrastructure Readiness Program and is intended to improve accessibility, visitor experience, and equitable service delivery during the expected surge of tourism associated with the tournament.
