WHAT THEY WANT
The City of San Diego is requesting proposals from consultants to provide as-needed environmental services for its Stormwater Department under two contracts, H2626785-M and H2626786-M. The City operates an extensive urban stormwater system to reduce flood risk and improve water quality: its Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System includes nearly 1,000 miles of drainage pipes, 84 miles of drainage channels, more than 48,000 storm drain structures and 15 pump stations across a 342-square-mile area, inspected, cleaned, maintained and repaired by the department's engineers, planners and crews.
