WHAT THEY WANT
(Summarized from the RFP)
The County of San Diego Treasurer-Tax Collector is seeking an independent, California-licensed certified public accounting firm to audit hotels and other lodging establishments in the unincorporated areas of the county for compliance with the County's Transient Occupancy Tax Ordinance. Because the tax is self-reported by operators, these audits are meant to ensure compliance and identify establishments that may not be reporting all revenue due to the County.
