WHAT THEY WANT

(Summarized from the RFP)

Stanislaus County is seeking a qualified contractor to schedule and facilitate Child and Family Team (CFT) meetings for children, youth, non-minor dependents and families served by its child welfare and probation programs. A CFT meeting brings together the family, youth, natural supports, Tribes where applicable, and system partners to share the needs and strengths identified through the Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) assessment and to build a comprehensive, achievable case plan. State guidance recommends a neutral third-party facilitator, and every youth who enters foster care or has an open child welfare case must have a CFT.
