The City of Modesto, California is seeking a qualified occupational health and safety consulting firm to provide citywide safety consultation and training. Modesto is a full-service municipality with more than 1,500 employees across Utilities (water and wastewater), Parks and Recreation, Public Works, Police, and Fire and Emergency Medical Services, and the consultant must have demonstrated experience serving public agencies or similarly complex organisations with field, utility, fleet, public works, parks and administrative operations. The consultant supports the City's Safety Officer in maintaining compliance with federal, state and local regulations and in developing and implementing the City's safety programs.
