The City of Redding Public Works Department, Wastewater Utility, is seeking a highly qualified firm to provide consultant services for upgrading the existing Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system and programmable logic controller (PLC) hardware at the Clear Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant. The City wants to alleviate systemwide SCADA and hardware deficiencies and add remote monitoring and alarm notification capabilities through a turnkey SCADA system, with the consultant responsible for software procurement, development, testing, documentation, integration, remote access and alarm notifications.
