WHAT THEY WANT
(Summarized from the RFP)
The City of Riverside Fire Department, through its Office of Emergency Management, is seeking a qualified firm to conduct an evacuation assessment, develop a citywide Evacuation Plan, and revise the evacuation and re-entry annexes of the City's Emergency Operations Plan. The work builds on the regional Emergency Evacuation Network Resilience study by the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority and the Western Riverside Council of Governments, which identified neighborhoods lacking network redundancy during evacuations, and localizes it. It must comply with Senate Bill 99 and provide the route capacity, safety and viability analysis required by Assembly Bill 747, following the Office of Planning and Research Evacuation Planning Technical Advisory Guide.
