WHAT THEY WANT
(Summarized from the RFP)
The City and County of San Francisco Office of Labor Standards Enforcement is seeking a qualified organization to provide outreach, education and consultation services to the domestic worker sector so that domestic workers and their employers understand San Francisco's Paid Sick Leave and Minimum Wage Ordinances. The San Francisco-Oakland-Fremont area has an estimated 39,156 domestic workers, including homecare attendants, house cleaners and childcare providers, who are regularly subject to labor violations and are often hard to reach. Because the ordinances let domestic workers accrue paid sick leave across multiple employers, effective implementation depends heavily on public awareness among both workers and hiring households.
