The County Administrator's Office, which builds the annual budget and coordinates long-range financial planning, needs sound economic information to project property tax, sales tax and other revenues and to anticipate demand for County services. The consultant will consolidate and interpret regional and state economic data, analyze conditions specific to Contra Costa County, and develop forecasts that staff can use in budget development and multi-year planning.
