WHAT THEY WANT
The City of San José is seeking a vendor to supply and implement a commercial enterprise data historian and reporting solution for its Regional Wastewater Facility. The facility currently relies on NoVAX, an internally developed data collection and reporting tool built on an in-house SQL database that pulls together laboratory results, manual operator entries and continuous Distributed Control System (DCS) process data. The City wants to modernize this infrastructure and eliminate the single-point-of-failure risk the legacy tool represents.
