The City of Stanton Public Works and Engineering Department is seeking a California-licensed architect or professional engineer with at least five years of experience to prepare a Facility Assessment Report for the City's Public Safety Center – Sheriff Station at 11100 Cedar Street. The City received a Community Project Funding grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (Federal Award B-24-CP-CA-0148) to improve the station, and needs an independent assessment that verifies and prioritizes the grant-funded improvements, identifies other facility deficiencies, and provides the cost estimates and environmental-clearance guidance the City needs to move the project into design and construction. This is a re-issue of the solicitation the City first advertised in August 2026.

HOW TO SUBMIT
Hard-copy submission in a sealed envelope to the City of Stanton Department of Public Works and Engineering, 7800 Katella Avenue, Stanton, CA 90680. Submit three bound copies of the proposal on 8.5 x 11 sheets (11 x 17 for fold-out drawings), limited to 25 pages excluding resumes, tabs, and covers, with a Letter of Transmittal addressed to Daniel Herrera, Engineering Assistant, acknowledging addenda and holding the offer valid for 90 days. Required contents include firm history, key personnel and resumes, project understanding and work plan, sub-consultants, government references, schedule, evidence of insurance compliance, exceptions and deviations, the signed Exhibit A Proposal Acknowledgement Form, and the signed Exhibit B Title VI Compliance Certification (omitting either form disqualifies the proposal). The fee proposal, with a total project cost, hourly rate schedule, and staff-hour table by task, goes in a separate sealed envelope. Questions by email to DHerrera@StantonCA.gov.
