WHAT THEY WANT
(Summarized from the RFP)
The Washington State Department of Commerce, through its Office of Economic Development and Competitiveness (OEDC), is issuing a Request for Information to identify prospective projects that would decarbonize hard-to-decarbonize sectors of the state economy while fostering economic development. Responses will inform the design of a potential state grant program, funded by the Legislature, that is intended to advance Washington's greenhouse gas emissions reduction goals, reduce emissions in difficult industrial sectors, and bring private investment and federal funding into the state.
