WHAT THEY WANT

(Summarized from the RFP)

The Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) is issuing a Request for Information to gather input from agencies, organizations, housing providers and other interested parties on the design and delivery of a single integrated program that combines its Independent Living Skills (IL) program with its Foster Care Housing Program (FCHP) for transition-age youth. DCYF will use the responses to structure a future Request for Proposals, with new combined contracts to be procured in 2027. Respondents are asked to share best practices, resource constraints and innovative strategies for blending the two services.
