The County of San Diego, through its Office of the Treasurer-Tax Collector, is seeking a Registered Investment Advisor to provide investment advisory services for the County's Local Government Investment Pool and its stand-alone portfolios. The Pool holds pooled monies of the County, school districts, community college districts and special districts, with total assets of $16.6 billion as of January 2026 and a peak of $18.9 billion in April 2025. The Treasurer also manages a $240 million tobacco securitization endowment invested mainly in tax-exempt municipal securities, plus smaller stand-alone portfolios.
